Design and Manufacturing Excellence

Each Shep Engineering compressed air receiver is engineered for optimal performance and longevity. Our vessels are designed with Torispherical or Elliptical Heads, which provide superior strength and longer lifespan compared to conventional designs of the same thickness.

We use Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel construction materials, depending on the client’s process requirements. Every tank undergoes MIG/TIG welding for precision joining, followed by submerged arc welding to secure the heads both internally and externally. This dual welding technique significantly increases structural integrity and resistance to fatigue.

Manufacturing Standards

All our pressure vessels are manufactured in strict compliance with:

  • ASME Section VIII, Division 1 for pressure integrity and safety.

  • KEBS guidelines for material quality and construction.

  • Welding Standards utilizing EW7018 electrodes and advanced TIG/Argon techniques.
