Terms of Service – Shep Engineering (K) LTD
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Shep Engineering (K) LTD (“Shep Engineering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Shep Engineering (K) LTD provides a range of engineering and fabrication services, including but not limited to:
- Machining (Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Boring, Grinding)
- Welding (MIG, TIG, ARCH, Laser)
- Fabrication (Light and Heavy Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum)
- CNC Plasma Cutting
- Pressure Vessel and Tank Fabrication
- Custom Machinery Fabrication
- And other related services as described on our website or provided in our quotations.
3. Quotations and Orders
- All quotations provided by Shep Engineering are valid for a specified period, as indicated on the quotation.
- Orders are considered accepted upon written confirmation from the Client and Shep Engineering.
- Shep Engineering reserves the right to modify or cancel an order if unforeseen circumstances arise.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms will be specified in the quotation or invoice.
- Shep Engineering may require a deposit before commencing work.
- Late payments may incur interest charges.
- Ownership of goods remains with Shep Engineering until full payment is received.
5. Client Responsibilities
- The Client is responsible for providing accurate and complete specifications and drawings for the requested services.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring that materials provided to Shep Engineering meet the required standards.
- The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals for the project.
6. Delivery and Shipping
- Delivery dates provided are estimates and are subject to change.
- Shep Engineering is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
- Shipping costs will be borne by the Client unless otherwise agreed.
7. Warranty and Liability
- Shep Engineering warrants that its services will be performed with reasonable care and skill.
- Shep Engineering’s liability for any damages arising from its services is limited to the amount paid by the Client for those services.
- Shep Engineering is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Warranty terms for specific products or services will be specified in the quotation or contract.
8. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights related to the services provided by Shep Engineering remain with Shep Engineering, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The Client grants Shep Engineering a non-exclusive license to use any Client-provided intellectual property for the purpose of providing the services.
9. Confidentiality
- Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the business relationship.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
12. Amendments
- Shep Engineering reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to the Client in writing.

14. Severability
